South Park

South Park has satire in it every episode.
In one episode they make fun of the show intervention. That show is about people becoming sober in rehab, and in South Park there is a towel trying to get clean. They just make funny remarks the whole time. Its satirizing the way that people try hard to become sober and the towel is just messing around and really not trying.

Cheshire the Cat uses Satire

Alice in Wonderland is an exaple of satire. Cheshire the cat is the reference to an English sherriff that smiled when he hung people. Nobody actually smiles when they hang people that is the sarcasm in it.  The cat liked to kill people and did'nt think much of it. he was an evil cat.He liked doing thing wrong.

Family Guy

Family Guy is an example of satire. That show makes fun of a lot of true events. They make fun of famous people, and just events that have happened. This show satires all types of events that have happened in the past. For example Peter and Brian go to the past and Brian tells some guy to meet him by the twin towers on the exact day, and time it happened, so he would end up dieing.

Satire

An example of satire is in The Gullivers Travel. The fictional kingdom of Liliput is atconstant war with its neighbor because of a dispute over how to proberly crack an egg.  This makes fun of  nations who go to war over stupid reasons. There are two different types of people who crack the egg differetly. one cracks from the top and then the other cracks the egg from the bottom. those people would be the ones who go to war.

scary movie not even scary

An example of satire is the movie Scary Movie.
The movie Scary Movie is an example of satire because of its irony, and sarcasm in it. During the movie they make fun of all different types of movies. It's movie scenes that are not the actually one, it is just a goofy version of it. For example the movie Saw, when their all chained up to the wall, they need to find the saw to cut off their leg to get out of the room, but in Scary Movie Dr. Phil is chained up and he finds the saw, and he starts to cut off his foot. Once he's done, he realizes that he cut the wrong foot off. Now he would have to cut the other one off too. Thats the sarcasm, and irony in it. That is not what actually happened in the movie Saw.
